Q.

my daughter is 20 months old. she is having loose motions from Monday. on Tuesday, Wednesday &Thursday it was less. from Friday it's again started & frequency is more. consulting our doctor we gave her enterogermina repsules as 3 days course. but still it did not stop. any antibiotics to be given? please suggest...

A. hi antibiotics can not be given without consulting your pediatrician. so please don't self medicate your child. inform your treating doctor for this. keep your child well hydrated offer natural probiotics like fresh curd buttermilk etc to your child. give light food like khichdi curd rice, upma, fruit like apple or pomegranate juice etc to your child. maintain good hygiene
