Q.

My daughter is 2 years 2 months old now but she don't want to eat any solids till now. she takes semi solid food. she just spits any solid food when we try to feed her or offer her. we first thought it's because she got her teeth very late but as now she has crossed 2 years we are so worried about her. how to make her have a normal meals like chapati bhaji or daal rice or other breakfast, snacks items. please guide

A. okay.. don't feel sad ,just keep your trying best you can tell stories to your child for this. make food presentation attractive for example offer chapati in different shapes like star heart smiles etc using shape cutter it may help to encourage your child to take it. give positive reward like sticker of star smiles etc whenever your child atleast try to eat or chew.

A. we are already trying all these things since so long but no use at all. she is firm that she don't want to eat 😥 feeling helpless now

A. hi please do the following things: gradually increase the consistency of food or try to make your child sit to take meal with whole family because children learn more from imitating their parents. play pretend play with your child and try to teach how to chew food well .
