Q.

My daughter is 2 year 1 month old. all her milestone at this age is going correct except speech. she only speak few words . we are worried. please help me. what should I do at home any kind of therapy because it's corona time we can't take her out for any speech therapy. so please suggest some ways by which we can help her. waiting for your reply eagerly. thanks

A. you need to interact as much as possible with the child in the language is speak and you should wait till 3 years only then the baby will be able to speak you should not get disheartened do not worry

A. hello....Generally most children speak their first word between 10 to 14 months of age but some even start very late too by 2.5 years.......By the time your baby is a year old, he or she is probably saying between one to four words. They will be simple, and not complete words, but you will know what they mean... they may say “ma-ma,” or “da-da,” or try a name for a sibling, pet, or toy....and later joining the words to form sentences...so if baby is not starting by age 2.6+ then show to speech therapist...
