Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. may be any flu . Mild cough and cold may be due to any wheather changes . Medicine should be avoided and only steam should be given to baby 2 to 4 times in a day .if cough is troublesome then asthakind LS can be given to baby 3 times in a day .

Cough and Cold together along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection mostly like flu so supportive treatmhyent is required. along with that cough expectorant along with decongestant and antiallergic medications are needed. steam inhalation can be given too as it will relieve the symptoms.
