Q.

My daughter is 2 and half months hold. since last 3 days she is reluctant to breastfeeding while awake. when she sleeps, she takes proper breastfeeding. While awake and hungry, if we try to breastfeed her, she cries and arches her back and not taking the breast. possible explanation and cure?

A. so far we have not seen her streesed or distracted. this kind of behaviour was sudden and out of the blue. she is very active and playful all the times. sleeps well.

A. Stress or distraction. Overstimulation, delayed feedings or a long separation from you might cause fussiness and difficulty nursing. A strong reaction from you to being bitten during breastfeeding might have the same effect. Sometimes a baby is simply too distracted to breastfeed.
