Q.

My daughter is 2 and 1/2 years, she gets hiccups once one in a month but she gets hiccups twice or thrice in a day but if I give her water or I feed my milk then it stops so it very severe problem

A. No it’s not a serious problem abd it’s okay give few sips of water to the child and try to divert mind and hiccups are common in kids when they laugh out loud or scream

A. it's common at this age. need not to worry.. as long as she is active and busy in her routines.

A. Centuries ago, people claimed hiccups meant a growth spurt for children. Today, we understand the mechanics of a hiccup: When the diaphragm — a muscle situated between the lungs and the stomach — becomes irritated, it begins to spasm. This spasm causes what is commonly known as hiccups.A baby's hiccups don't cause any physical damage. Even if they go on for 10 minutes or more, they generally are not a cause for concern. But if hiccups persist, a parent should be vigilant.
