my daughter is 2.5 years old today when she was playing her one last finger got hurt now she is in pain what can we do to relieve her pain how many days she will b in pain.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. you have to give paracetamol for fever as well as pain according to the weight of the child as well as according to the strength of paracetamol medicine you are having. there are different strength of paracetamol available in the market that is it may be in the drops formulation which might be having power of 100 mg or or 125 mg or 150 mg in each 1ml. in syrup formulation paracetamol has got dixfferent powers like 120/ 25mg and 240/ 250 mg in each 5ml. so the dxoctor will calculate the dosage according to the power and weight of the child. paracetamol can be given max 4 times per day

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl3 years agoA. U should give paracetamol know that will help in settling down the pain for the time being and you should consult your doctor tomorrow morning for a proper check up and figure out if any other medicine or treatment is required to make it better
