Q.
My daughter is 14 month old but still she is still not walking, although she can stand with support. whenever she tried to walk she walks on toes due to which she is not able to maintain balance and falls. Is it ok if she takes a little longer to walk?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injurjy and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.
