Q.

my daughter is 11 month old but her weight is 6.50 her birth weight was 3.100 i m trying my best to giving her all type nutrition but still her weight gain is too slow please suggest me a proper diet plan for wight gain.

A. Dear parent, for healthy weight gain, you should give a balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Use full cream top milk to prepare recipes like porridge, kheer and give as milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add powdered nuts like almonds, walnuts to baby’s food. Add ghee to every meal. Give 3 to 4 meals a day and up to three fourth katori every time. Continue to breastfeed.
