Q.

My daughter is 10 months old and having weight of 8.7kg, she is having fever giving babygesic 1.2ml. Want to know if fever crosses 101 what will be dose of ibugesic?

A. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carriedd out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water. higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

A. Hello  dear if fever goes a very higher than in that should not only keep on giving paracetamol to the child in that case, you have to consult with the doctor sometime Even antibiotic is required
