Q.
My daughter is 10 month old and she is teething now. Most of her teeth are coming now in this month. today she is having elevated temp between 98.9-99.6f armpit temp . head is also hot. what to do? As she is not eating also much except breastfeeding. pls recommend.

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist4 years agoA. Teething causes a rise in body temperature only by one degree. if the temperature rises please visit a pediatrician and get proper evaluation done as it might not due to teething. for the night give the analgesic you might have given previously during fever.
during teething there is a loss of appetite so kids don't eat much. do not force feed.
