Q.

My daughter is 1 year 5 months old. She is having viral fever since 2 days and she is not eating much... only having mothers milk and water... usually she eats around 4-5 times in a day but in this fever she is having only once in a day.. Is it normal...? I am taking care about her hydration but should i worry about her missing meals...?

A. Loss of appetite is common during fever so give more liquids and soups and light and easily digestible foods and give her fruits and don’t forcefully feed the baby take care

A. Hi parent Their appetite is reduced in fever Don't.force her to eat Give her easy to digest food only You may give her a spoon of lukewarm water every hour in the day time (don't wake her up though) Don't use RO water as it's demineralized Use simply purified water having TDS higher than 350
