Q.

my daughter is 1 month old. as soon as she passes gas she cried. little worried for her. i put heeng also on her stomach. then i gave her colicaid.

A. yes you can give colic pain medicine gas is a common issue and affects all new born babies. avoid bottle feeding . Burp baby well for 15 mins after each feed. Can do cycling motion of legs. Can make baby lie on tummy to relieve gas. Give gastica drops 1 ml for ease. Colic pain is worse at night and needs drops meftal spas 1 ml . Give mother feeds only

A. Massage With Mustard Oil – Giving your baby a massage with warm mustard oil then a warm water bath to relieve the gas problem. Massaging with mustard oil will also help the expulsion of gas from the intestine and the warm water will trigger drowsiness, thus calming him down.
