My daughter having a very bad cough from December. Blood report are okay . No pneumonia but in X-ray it’s shows a pleural effusion. But doc are saying it’s normal . I m concern is that normal .

A. whenever there is confusion regarding the treatment given by your doctor and if you are not satisfied with the answers you can always take a second opinion of another doctor of the sarme field. weather a particular investigation or treatment is proper or not can be confirmed only after taking relevant history and doing proper examination of the child which will be done by the secondd doctor.

A. If your doctor says it is normal then it would be normal only but what kind of treatment you need to follow for your child your doctor is going to advise you on that so kindly check with your doctor if any kind of treatment or precaution needs to be taken

Sir .on Nov I m shifted to Lucknow from West Bengal .when we shifted with in 2 week my daughter got admitted coz of viral fever and from December she having a cough till date ..we had x-ray and there is no any sigh of pneumonia but in report there is mention pleural effusion . Though doc had seen the report nd they are saying report are normal not worry . I m giving her nebuliser also in doc directions but still she having a cough especially at night it got worst .
