Q.

My daughter has completed 4 months today. Her weight is 6.3kgs and our pediatric has told me to start rice and moongdal porridge. Is it safe to start? And also told us to serve it with cow milk and jaggery. Please suggest me the correct way.

A. WHO and UNICEF recommend that babies be fed nothing but breast milk for their first 6 months, after which you can start give weaning food n water. tc .

A. good morning usually to said that you should try to give only mother's milk up to the age of 6 months nothing apart from that should be given and also the babies weight is very good as per the age so I don't see the need to give semi solid food
