Father of a 8 yr 2 m old girl2 years ago
Q.

My daughter has been going to school since last year (joined directly in U.K.G.) and she is doing well academically. But we are facing challenge in making her to feel comfortable to stay for full day in school. She is not having snacks and lunch as her mom is not with her. Could you please suggest how to make her to be brave and be independent at school. I am very much worried about my daughter.

A. You cannot advice her and make her understand at this tender age. The best thing you could do here is make her independent at home. Like encourage and let her eat on her own at home even if she is messy and eats less. Make it as family meals. Slowly she will become independent and wont feel much difference at school.
