Q.

my daughter had fever cough since 2days.antibiotic augmentin started for her .now fever intermittently reduced 98.6,°fand elevated up to 100,, and her both eyes are lightly reddish .is any lab investigation or further opinion needed for her

A. Fevers due to viruses can last for as little as two to three days and sometime as long as two weeks. A fever caused by a bacterial infection may continue until the child is treated with an antibiotic.
