Q.

My daughter diagnosed with UTI when she was 4 months old and my doctor asked me to give Sporidex 100mg drops for every day 1ml. Now she is 7 months old and still we are continuing the medicine. My doctor asked me to continue the medication until we take the MCU test for my daughter. Is it ok to take antibiotics for 3 months???

A. yes it is required to prevent recurrence of urine infection it is important to follow the instructions opinion advice and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not take medicines not prescribed by the doctor . take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification or any lab / radiological investigations.

A. hello you should be giving the medicine as advised by your doctor which would be better and if after that there is no improvement may required for the medical investigation so it is better to check with your doctor again which is safe
