my daughter 17 months old suffering from fever from one month above not continually but it occurs some time today tested esr 90 crp 50 what it means why the fever came can u tell me

A. the CRP of the child is high which indicates the child might be suffering from severe infection it is very common that children will fall ill again and again that is within one or two months sometimes before 5 years of age. this falling ill is just steps to to immunity build up in these children and you will see that afgter 5 years they will not fall ill that much frequently. till that time just tgake care of regular diet made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits and do not give outside packet foods and complete the vaccination of the child

A. hi dear If the child's temperature is higher than 100.4 F, call your pediatrician. A child this age should always be seen by their pediatrician if they are sick. Bathing or sponging the child with lukewarm water may help bring down a fever. Do not use cold water, ice baths, or alcohol.
