my childs leg and lower jawline shakes as and when without any reason. Is it normal? #asktheexpert

A. shivering in newborn can be due to startle reflex and less likely due to calcium deficiency. kindly continue to give breastfeeding to the child and take a video of the shivering and meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is normal startle reflex or it is due to hypocalcemia. needs examination

A. A lot of times it could be just due to nutritional deficiency and nothing else so in that case I would advise you to consult your doctor with supplements suggested by the doctor mostly it’s vitamin D and multivitamin which is given for one year but if shaking of the leg is regularly happening then you should consult the doctor once
