Q.

“My child’s MCU report shows possible Posterior Urethral Valve (PUV) with no urine reflux, and earlier ultrasound showed kidney swelling. Is this serious, does treatment/surgery need to be done, and will it affect kidneys long term?” “Based on the MCU and DTPA reports, is my child’s kidney condition serious? Is PUV confirmed or only suspected, and what treatment or follow-up is needed?”

A. It is a matter of concern so I am just going to advise you that in that case you should consult your doctor they are going to tell you what treatment is going to be appropriate and what do you need to follow
