my child pulse rate is 170 is this normal

A. Kids between 1 to 2 years old should have a heart rate of 80 to 130 beats per minute. But kids might have a fast heart rate when : they play or exercise vigorously, experience pain, feel anxious or stressed, experience a fever or illness, are dehydrated etc. Then a fast heart rate is not a cause for concern. But if the heart rate is too fast and not because of the above mentioned reasons, contact your doctor.
