Q.

My child is 4 years old. He has all his milk teeth in good condition. However he chew from only the left side of his mouth. I tell him to chew from both sides simultaneously but he is not able to execute the same. Is it of any concern? Can u please advise me what i can do, please?

A. Dear parent, as there are right and left handed people, similarly there can obe side dominance while chewing also. Please consult a pediatric dentist to be 100 percent sure that there is no cavity or any other problem which can result in child not able to chew from one side. If there is no cause, then it is not an issue.

A. No no there’s no problem don’t worry as a child will progress with its age and with your regular counselling the child is going to pick it up initially they eat mostly from one side only which is common to be seen and it is not a problem so don’t worry
