my child is 4.5 months old and is crying a lot at night before sleeping,he wants to be in my arms all the time and cries once kept in cot

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. baby may cry usually for the reason like gastric pain which can be relieved by giving collicaid drops or gastica drops.
usually in children below 6 month of age especially those who are fed on formula milk have more gastric colic.proper burping after feeding is must.
other reasons could be nose blockage, diaper rash and may be more like hunger or sleep, any fear or stubbornness ,so accordingly may be assessed and taken care of
.If the crying behaviour doesnot resolve,visit your ordoctor.

There can be two reasons behind it first it can be because of hunger and second reason it can be because of colic. In such case if your baby is stomach if it’s tight then in such case you can apply Babyhug tummy roll on it will help baby to pass gas and give relief in pain
