A. Lay the baby on the back and pedal her legs if in case there was any gas it will be released smoothly. Apply a paste of Hing mixed with water around the baby's navel area gently. All these will help to release the gas without much pain. If the child is not waking , try to wake the baby and feed or dream feed the baby while she is asleep. Your baby should be peeing anywhere between six to ten times a day which means the baby is taking feeds properly. If not then make sure the baby is latching and taking feeds well or if ur milk supply is sufficient and feed frequently if required. Also there should be a gradual weight gain. Keep a check on these factors.
