my child is 3 yrs old. she is having frequent cough issues so doctor has recommended foracort 100 inhaler. However while doing a random Google search i found this inhaler is not recommended for children below 6 yrs of age. plz advise

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. that's not true can be used it is important to follow the instructions opinion advice and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not take medicines not prescribed by the doctor . take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification or any lab / radiological investigations.
