Q.
My child is 3 months old. One of her eye is always watery since 2nd month. When she is awake continuous water flows from right eye. I am using one ointment and doing eye massage as guided by doctor. buy there is no improvement . shall I consult eye specialist or pls guide what to do

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. Hello...watery eyes are normal condition in early age..baby's tear duct may not have fully developed yet.
You can remove any sticky liquid or crusting by bathing her eye with cooled boiled water and cotton wool.
Do massaging the tear duct area twice or thrice a day. by one year of age it usually heal itself
