my child is 2 years and 3 months old. he frequently have cold and cough is there any home remedies to stop this and what can be the reason of this frequently cold and cough

Cough is a protective reflex of the body to expel out the mucus or any irritant factor from the respiratory tract which is most of the time assosiated with cold due to any viral or bacterial infection . A proper examination is required to find the cause . As a home remgedy you can start with steam inhalation . Cough can be treated with cough suppressant or antitussives as per the cause. For cold antihistamines are useful andr nasal saline drops are also benifecial .

NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello you can put nasal drops and also use instant cold releif rub from Babyhug which can be of help and in regards to the medication it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
