Q.

My child is 2+ but he is not at all gaining weight kindly suggest me a good protein powder and some weight gaining foods to be given.

A. Add dry fruits powder to your son's fruit milkshakes and fruit smoothies instead of giving any protein powder. Give whole fat milk and milk products like ghee in small amounts, curd, home made paneer, butter and cheese. Give peanut butter sandwiches. Give lentils like moong Dal and urad Dal. Give bananas, avocados and pears. Give one boiled egg per day. Give cheesy potatoes and sweet potatoes. Give plain nuts to eat like almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts, peanuts and raisins. Give ragi. Give mangoes.
