my child has umbilical hernia ..his paediatric said it not serious. how long will it take to get normal

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. the child is having umbilical hernia which is very common in children and goes awaye by maximum 2 years of age. with growing age it dregresses and goes inside it does not require any intervention or treatment before 2 years if it is non complicated. meet your doctor once who will tell you whether any intervention or wait and watch policy is required.
