My child has taken one dose of meningococcal vaccine (menectra) at age of one year but missed 2nd dose , now he is 4year old ,now suggests me best suitable to do. #Vaccination

A. can give now meningococcal vaccine is an optional vaccine. it is usually given either xat 9 months of age and one year of age as a a 2 dosage regimen or you can go for a single dosage after two years of age. your doctor is the best person to tell you whether it is required by your child or not. my personal advice would be that if you can afford the vaccine you should get the child vaccinated for any disease for which vaccine is available
