my child has doesn't sit , understands and speaks properly.can I take him for neurological doctor or I can take him for occupational therapist.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is important to meet the doctor to get the child examined. milestones assessment of the child needs to be done which will tell whether the child is having any development delay or not.
the child will be assessed for four major milestones that is
1.gross motor milestone
2.fine motor milestone
3.social milestone
4.language milestone. after the assessment the doctor will tell you which therapy is required by the child
