Q.

My child has completed 8 months, and he still has not started to utter even simple sound words like Mama, Baba... I keep talking with him and using such words. Is it normal, or should I show it to any doc? I need to clarify as I am worried and can hear that child at least start uttering by this age.

A. You are just overthinking it is said that kids can start saying certain words by the age of 8 to 12 months so it’s a huge time 8 to 12 months of four months actually so keep talking to your child just make sure that child is paying attention to you and instead of saying the words regularly try to make it in a rhyming form I think that’s going to be easier for the child to pick up on
