Q.

My child had symptoms of typhoid from 7 th june to 15 june , when got tested the report came positive up to 1/40 on 17 June. The doctor gave the medicines of typhoid. She is fine now. Is it the correct time to get her vaccinated from typhoid vaccine. It has been 15 days of recovery. kindly guide me

A. after 1 month of infection. it is important to follow the instructions opinion advice and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not take medicines not prescribed by the doctor . take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification or any lab / radiological investigations.

A. Yeah if you want you can get it done but a confirmation would be provided by your doctor whether it is now any point getting the typhoid vaccination done or not so you should crosscheck with your paediatrician and go for what they suggest
