Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. there are multiple causes of headache in children and for immediate relief you can give paracetamol which is a good painkiller also. see that the child is consuming plenty of fluids because many times less water in the body can cause headache. the other common fcauses are nutritional deficiency as well as anemia and decrease sleep and more screen time if going on according to age.
paracetamol can be given maximum four times per day but if the problem is occurring again and again please visit the doctor fto rule out any major pathology

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. Place a warm, not hot, wet washcloth on the head or neck or have your child take a warm shower. You can give over-the-counter pain medicines like ibuprofen (Motrin®, Advil®), acetaminophen (Tylenol®), or naproxen (Aleve®).
