Q.

My boy suddenly start to poop during the nights. 2 days back he walk up at 2:30 am and pooped and this morning 12:30 am once and 4:30 am. Consistency was massy at those times. But after lunch today the poop was very watery and yellow. What could be the reasons? FYI - boy in not teething

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics has their role only gfif it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .
