My boy is 9 months old and he's having fever, cold, cough from last 3 days. I am giving him paracetamol syp 4ml every 6 hours, citrazin syp 2ml/day at night & saline nasal drops as prescribed. How much time would it take for him get absolutely well. He has also developed some redness, small patch of rashes around his mouth.

A. hi, continue advice medicine, generally viral infection need 5 to 7 days to cure. apply Vaseline jelly on rashes around mouth n it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.
