my boy is 7 months old...and he is suffering with breathtaking problem because of cold and also suffering with cough...because of this he is always being in irritation plesse suggest me what medicines I have to give him and the diet that have to follow

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. regular cough and cold in children are most commonly associated with allergy which might be due to weather changes on temperature variations.
many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections.
it is very common that childrend will have a recurrent cough and cold as well as fever before d5 years of age and after that a proper immunity is developed and then this problem will go away.
get the child vaccinated for flu vaccine which will again help in decreasing this problem

As steam actually helps in opening up nasal passages and also clears congestion of the baby. Also apply Vicks baby rub on baby's chest. For medicine you should consult with your paediatric
