Q.

my boy is 5months old completely breastfeeding but I got my periods, is it normal or should I consult doc. also during my periods i noticed decrease in milk supply

A. there is no relation between periods and milk secretion so you just need to continue your breastfeeding properly as before which will help get a good breast milk supply to the baby the breast milk depends on your nutrition and your sleep pattern

A. as a mother I suggest to continue breastfeeding until 18 months

A. Periods are very normal to happen any time after your delivery sometimes it could be a longer duration sometimes you resume them very early but doesn’t matter sometimes bleeding could be really light sometimes it could be heavy so you should simultaneously monitor your period period for six months if you see any abnormality then consult your doctor
