Q.

My boy is 3 year old now he was premature with low birth weight so he was delayed in speech before few months he started speaking but few words are clear rest are not . My point of concern is sometimes I find its tongue movement is different while speaking some words , so is this normal or not ? please help and guide . thanks ๐Ÿ™

A. A 3-year-old who can comprehend and nonverbally communicate but can't say many words may have a speech delay. One who can say a few words but can't put them into understandable phrases may have a language delay. Some speech and language disorders involve brain function and may be indicative of a learning disability.
