If he is still used to finger foods then you will have to explore in that angle and introduce foods that way.Somw might find that appealing or if it's only one particular food then you will have to find ways other than normal ones to make him eat. Instead of rice and dal just like that make kichidi,or introduce him to sambar with lots of dal. Substitute and alter one way or the other.
For few days stop this and try giving something new then you can start with this again.
Make the food interesting instead of giving the same thing everyday.
