Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Did u give any new food to the baby recently. Then may be it is not suiting ur baby and caused a stomach upset. In that case try stopping that food and see if it helps. If not it could be due to an infection. If the loose stools continue to happen for more than a day or more frequently then u should get the child examined by ur pediatrician once. Meanwhile keep the baby well hydrated with frequent feedings and lot of fluids.
