It's quite common for babies to get sleepy during breastfeeding because they feel very relaxed. However, it's important to remember that breast milk is the best possible source of nutrients for your little one, so it's worth trying to encourage him to feed from the breast if possible. It's possible that your baby may develop a preference for the texture and flow rate of the bottle teats, but it's not guaranteed. If you're struggling with feeding and want more advice, it might be helpful to speak with a lactation consultant or your baby's pediatrician. Keep up the great work!
