my bby girl is 4 month old her head is flat one side is this normal

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy11 months agoA. pressure on one side of the head during sleep can cause flatness, but no treatment is needed. by age one or two, as the child sits and walks, the head shape usuxally normalizes. pillows won't help, so there's no need to worry. the skull's elastic bones adjust as the brain grows. to help, vary the child's sleeping positions and offer more tummy time to reduxce pressure on the back of the head.
