Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles.
you have to consider it as xfever only if the temperature in the armpit is 100°f / 37.7°c or more.
the warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas (that is necessary for development) which is normal.
RashmiMom of a 10 yr 11 m old girl1 Year agoA. The fluctuation temperature is very common and normal with kids because they usually have a higher body temperature so sometimes it can go down and sometimes it can raise a little bit on the regular temperature that you’ve been seeing but that’s normal till the time it is not fever there is no problem with the temperature rising
