my babygirl is trying to suck her thumb and hands so can I give her pacifier? and if I can what precautions should be followed!?

A. In 1 month old baby usually sucking finger is part of their development, my son used to do it all the time, his pediatrician mentioned that till 8-9 month let them suck, post that if they continue then you need to worry and find a way to stop. now he is 9 month old and has stopped it on his own. pacifier anyways not a preferred solution, baby will be keep on dropping it and if it is not cleaned it may cause infections.

A. even after feeding in half an hour again and again she wants to suck her thumb and hands so still no pacifier? she is 1 month 26 days old

A. Pacifies is definitely not a good option for you to use so it is common for kids to take their hands into the mouth of better than giving pacifier it would be good for you to introduce Babyhug teeher that would be better as the child is not going to hold on its own but you can still try to give it that would be a better choice
