Q.

My Baby will turn a year old in a week. I have started to give him cow milk two times in a day. What should be the ideal quantity in terms of ml to be given to him on daily basis. Also should I continue with the formula milk or completely switch to cow milk?

A. If baby is reacting well and able to digest well the cow milk, you can continue feeding the same. Ideally, you should feed atleast 3 times a day with total of 600 to 650 ml everyday alongwith other semi solid foods and variety of fluids. Calcium present in milk is important for healthy growth and development of teeth and bones.
