My baby will become 5 months in few days. can I start her to give cereals

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. baby has to complete 6 months enter 7th month for giving any weaning foods Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination of the baby physically and if there is need to do any investigations if required

Most babies are not ready for solid foods, including infant cereals, until they are about 6 months old, though some babies could be ready a month or two earlier. Experts recommend that babies be breastfed or bottle-fed (with expressed breast milk or formula until 6 months of age.
