Hello mom babies would almost gain about 300 g to 1 KG monthly and by the age of 4 to 6 months they are expected to almost double their birth weight currently for the baby along with your feed provide him with weaning food and initially start with liquid consistency diet and as the baby accepts it well enough then you can gradually move to semisolid
