A. dear mum, considering a birth weight of 2 kg, weight of 4.7 kg is a normal weight for 4 months old baby. baby should gain at least 500 grams per month until 6 months. for healthy weight gain, continue to breastfeed exclusively till 6 months complete. at one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
